Yesterday I decided I want to do a Tough Mudder or a Mini Triathlon this summer. Well, turns out my 54 year old father was already planning to do an Olympic length triathlon and asked me to do it with him! That is a 1000m swim, 10 mile bike, and 10k run. So much for mini….
So, I am going to finish my 6 week HIIT challenge, then start more endurance cardio training with 2-3 weight lifting days a week. I really need to get back into running shape and want to hit the pool a few times before the race gets close. This is a great goal to have since I have never done more than a 10k race before!!
